The sign for EMPLOYER has two parts. (i) The first part consists of the sign for HEAD which is made with one hand that takes the shape for K (the first letter of the Maltese word “kap” for “boss”) and taps twice or more on the other shoulder. (ii) Then the sign for WORK is made with both hands in the shape of a fist with the palms facing sideways. One fist is placed over the other. The two fists hit each other (one is raised and the other lowered) twice or more.
